  4. FIRST TIME USERS:
  5.  
  6. Complete installation instructions are contained in IMLFA21.DOC.  Be sure to
  7. read that section carefully and make sure you edit the IMLFA.CFG file 
  8. so it contains the correct information for your setup.  IMLFA21.DOC and
  9. IMLFA.CFG together comprise the documentation for the program.  Some
  10. features may be explained in both, or may only appear in one or the other.
  11. Read them well to make the most of this program.

  14. UPGRADING:
  15.  
  16. If you are upgrading from a previous version of IMLFA, BE SURE TO MAKE A
  17. BACKUP COPY of your IMLFA.CFG file prior to installing from the new version!
  18. You will need to transfer your Registration Key and other Control Statement
  19. information to the new IMLFA.CFG file prior to running the software.
  20.  
  21. You should also be aware that the file structure for stored data has changed
  22. and additional data is now being stored.  If you create reports from data
  23. previously stored with another verison, it WILL crash.
  24.  
  25. You can simply del *.* in your current IMLFA directory or complete the 
  26. following steps.
  27.  
  28. 1.  Run any reports you may wish to save with your current version of IMLFA.
  29. 2.  Copy the new program files into the directory where you have IMLFA 
  30.     installed.
  31. 3.  Make the necessary changes to the new CFG file.
  32. 4.  Run IMLFA -WA before anything else!
  33. 5.  See the WHATS.NEW file for a list of what you get for all this trouble.

  35. I would have liked to provide you with a conversion option but the extensive
  36. changes in this version made it nearly impossible.
